The Graduate Programs in Political Science and Sociology of the Institute of Social and Political Studies of the State University of Rio de Janeiro (IESP-UERJ) open the present public calls for the selection process of the master’s classes of 2020.
Ten (10) vacancies will be offered for each program. The registration period runs from June 17 to July 19, 2019.

Vacancies and Candidates
There will be 10 vacancies for each masters course, destined to holders of graduation degree in the area of Social Sciences or related areas, obtained in courses certified by CAPES.

Entries will be held from June 17 to July 19, 2019, from Monday to Friday, from 10 am to 4 pm.
The Stages of the Selective Process
The selection process will consist of the following mandatory steps:
a) Written test, without consultation, based on the bibliography of annex 2. The test will have a maximum duration of 5 hours and it is eliminatory.
b) Foreign language test (English), not being eliminatory, but classificatory. The exam will have a maximum duration of 2 hours, at the discretion of the examining board, being allowed only the use of a dictionary brought by the candidate herself/himself.
c) Interview on the research pre-project and analysis of documentation and curriculum, of eliminatory character.
