JUNIOR RESEARCHER BEGINS HER PHD YEAR-ABROAD PROGRAM AT UC-BERKELEY

Leonildes Nazar is a Visiting Scholar at Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS) in University of California – Berkeley from 2019 to 2020. She will continue to develop her doctoral research in Political Science, which aims to understand the role of the International Cooperation field in Brazil in the last three decades of climate governance development. The doctoral stage via Capes PRINT is an opportunity of deepening the theoretical framework of the thesis by analyzing accessed bibliography and documents and researching new data and sources, but also to experience the academic exchange and connect with experts’ networks and participate in events of the area. In addition, it intends to access the resources offered by CLAS and Berkeley community, which is one of the main universities for the debate and policies making on climate change and related issues.
